The Rheem Economizer Universal DDC Interface Kit (RXRX-DDC01) is designed to integrate compatible non-DDC economizers with Rheem rooftop package units equipped with ClearControl DDC controls. This accessory provides the necessary mounting provisions and wire-management support to help convert a compatible non-DDC economizer installation for use with a DDC-controlled rooftop HVAC system.
The RXRX-DDC01 mounts directly on the economizer and provides a dedicated mounting location for the economizer controller. Its purpose-built design also helps organize excess wiring for a cleaner, more efficient installation.

Application
The RXRX-DDC01 is intended for compatible Rheem rooftop package HVAC systems using ClearControl DDC controls where a non-DDC economizer needs to be integrated with the DDC control platform. It provides the physical mounting and wiring-management provisions needed for the economizer controller.
Important
The RXRX-DDC01 is an economizer DDC interface kit and is not, by itself, the complete economizer assembly. Always verify the complete rooftop unit model number, economizer model, control configuration, and accessory compatibility before ordering.
Older DDC rooftop models may also require a ClearControl software update. Rheem documentation specifies a minimum software version of 3.15 for applicable older models, while R-454B/A2L models are supplied with software version 4.0 or higher.
Professional HVAC installation and commissioning are recommended to ensure correct mounting, wiring, control integration, and system operation.
