This 50WCE018 is a nominal 1.5-ton vertical WSHP designed to deliver heating and cooling by exchanging heat with a building water loop or geothermal source. In occupant-facing terms, WSHPs are a proven way to give each space its own comfort control while the central loop stabilizes temperatures across the building. The refrigerant circuit uses R-454B as part of the current platform generation.
The “M” airflow configuration indicates a left-return, top-discharge vertical arrangement, paired with side filter access and front-left water connections. Beyond geometry, the value in this SKU is the option set: coated air coil selection, cupronickel coaxial water heat exchanger selection, compressor blanket plus closed-cell foam insulation, and an A2L leak detection package. That combination targets corrosion resistance, quieter operation, and additional A2L safety coverage.
