The Brand Story

GalaxyBrite: A Spa Light You Set Up with Your Phone Before It Goes Underwater

Most spa lights are wired, installed and then left alone. GalaxyBrite, the color LED line from Blue Square Manufacturing in Chandler, Arizona, takes a different approach. Before the fixture ever goes into its niche, an installer holds a phone to it and uses near-field communication to program how it behaves, then seals it in and lets the water do the rest.

The Brand

Desert-built light for water

Blue Square Manufacturing is headquartered in Chandler, Arizona and makes LED pool and spa lighting that uses its own patented plug kits. GalaxyBrite is its color line. The fixtures are programmed with the GalaxyBrite Setup App over NFC before installation, run on 12 to 15 volts AC from an isolating low-voltage supply rated for pools, and are water-cooled, so they are designed to operate only while submerged. The GB6 base light is rated at 16 watts and about 1,100 lumens.

The Lineup

What HVAC365 carries

HVAC365 carries the GalaxyBrite RGBW spa light kit with a 100-foot cord in our spa and portable light fixtures. RGBW means the fixture mixes red, green and blue LEDs with a dedicated white channel, so it can produce saturated color shows and a clean white for everyday use. It sits within our wider pool lighting range.
