What do I need to install a PTAC?

Most installs need a wall sleeve sized to the unit (usually 42 in. x 16 in.), an exterior grille, and a power cord kit matched to the circuit amperage (15, 20 or 30 amp). A drain kit is recommended where condensate cannot drip outside. Check the unit manufacturer, since sleeves and cord kits are often brand-specific.
