POE vs PVE vs mineral oil?

POE oil is used with R-410A and most A2L systems. PVE is used in many inverter and VRF compressors (Daikin, Mitsubishi). Mineral and alkylbenzene oils are for older R-22 systems. Always use the compressor manufacturer's specified oil.
