Late at night in a small apartment, a box fan rattles in the corner and a separate air purifier hums on the dresser. Two cords, two noises, two machines doing related jobs. The MRBREEZE circular bladeless fan is built around a simple question: why not let one device do both?
A bladeless fan is not really fan-free. The motor and impeller sit hidden in the base, where they draw room air in through an intake. That air is pushed up into the hollow ring and forced out through a narrow slot along its inner edge. As the thin, fast stream leaves the ring, it pulls the surrounding air along with it, so the airflow coming through the opening is much larger than what the motor moves on its own. The result is a smooth, steady breeze rather than the chopped, buffeting airflow of spinning blades.
Pairing that design with a filter turns the same airflow path into an air cleaner. Air drawn into the base passes through the filter before it is sent back into the room, so the device can clean the air while it cools the people in it. With no exposed blades, it is also easier to wipe clean and safer around children and pets.
The MRBREEZE product HVAC365 carries is the circular bladeless fan and air purifier, a freestanding room unit that combines air circulation with filtration. It sits with our air cleaners and air purifiers as a portable complement to whole-house filtration, useful in bedrooms, offices and rooms that a central system does not reach well.
It is a freestanding circular fan with no exposed blades that also filters the air it moves, combining a room fan and an air purifier in one device.
A motor in the base pushes air into a hollow ring and out through a narrow slot. That fast stream draws surrounding air along with it, creating a smooth, steady breeze.
No. A portable unit cleans the air in a single room. Whole-house and in-duct air cleaners treat the air moving through the entire HVAC system, and the two work well together.
Because the impeller is enclosed in the base and there are no exposed spinning blades, there is nothing for small fingers or paws to reach.
