Comfortstar Orbit Tri Zone Mini Split System: CMIT-27-3Z with 9K + 9K + 9K Wall Mounted Indoor Units
This system heats and cools three rooms from a single outdoor unit. The Comfortstar CMIT-27-3Z inverter condenser runs three CTT wall-mounted indoor units in a 9K + 9K + 9K combination, and each indoor unit comes with its own wireless remote, so every room holds its own temperature. It runs on R-454B and is rated at 28,000 BTU/h cooling and 28,000 BTU/h heating with 20 SEER2, 10.5 EER2 and 8.5 HSPF2.
The inverter compressor modulates between 4,500-31,000 BTU/h, so most of the day the system runs at low speed instead of cycling on and off. Comfortstar rates it for cooling from 5°F to 131°F outdoors and heating from -13°F to 86°F, with 22,400 BTU/h of heat still available at 17°F. The outdoor unit is 62 dBA, and the smallest indoor unit in this set drops to 29 dBA on its quietest speed.
Each zone runs its own line set up to 98 ft, with up to 197 ft total across all zones, and the condenser is pre-charged for 74 ft of total line set.
