Comfortstar Eco Smart Tri Zone Mini Split System: C32-MZ-3 with 9K + 9K + 12K Wall Mounted Indoor Units
This system heats and cools three rooms from one outdoor unit. The Comfortstar C32-MZ-3 inverter condenser runs three CH20-32 wall-mounted indoor units in a 9K + 9K + 12K combination, and every indoor unit has its own CR32-RC wireless remote, so each room is set to its own temperature. It runs on R-32 refrigerant and is rated at 28,000 BTU/h cooling and 28,000 BTU/h heating with 22 SEER2, 11.2 EER2 and 10 HSPF2 (Region IV).
The inverter compressor modulates between 3,000-30,500 BTU/h in cooling, so the system runs quietly at low speed most of the day instead of cycling on and off. Comfortstar rates it for cooling in outdoor temperatures up to 131°F and heating down to -13°F, and it still delivers 23,000 BTU/h of heat at 17°F. The outdoor unit is 61 dBA, and the indoor units drop to 28 dBA on their quietest setting.
Each zone runs its own line set (1/4" liquid, 3/8" gas) up to 98 ft, with up to 197 ft total across all zones. The condenser comes pre-charged for 74 ft of total line set.
