Comfortstar Star Pro CSV36-32 3 Ton Inverter Heat Pump Package Unit
The Comfortstar CSV36-32 puts a complete 3 ton heat pump, compressor, coils and blower, into one outdoor cabinet that sits on a roof curb or a ground pad. It runs on R-32 and uses a dc inverter rotary compressor that ramps with the load, which keeps temperatures steady and cuts the short-cycling you get from single-stage packaged equipment.
It is rated at 34,600 BTU/h cooling and 36,000 BTU/h heating, 13.8 SEER2, 8.2 EER2 and 7.1 HSPF2 (AHRI 217752516). Comfortstar rates it for cooling in outdoor temperatures from 23°F to 125°F and heating down to -4°F. It runs on single-phase 208/230V power, so it suits small shops, offices, modular buildings and homes that use packaged equipment, as well as rooftop replacements.
The indoor blower delivers 1,060 CFM, and the unit connects to standard supply and return ductwork with 24V thermostat control.
