Grandaire 2 Ton FMA5L Wall-Hung Fan Coil: FMA5L2400AL
The FMA5L2400AL is a 2-ton upflow fan coil designed for apartments, condos and other tight closets. It hangs on the wall between standard stud spacing, takes its return air through the front, and keeps every service point at the front of the cabinet, so it can go into a closet barely deeper than the unit itself. It is built for R-454B refrigerant and ships with a factory TXV.
This is a conditioned-space unit: install it inside the living space, not in an attic, garage or crawlspace.

Common questions
Can I install this horizontally or in the attic?
No. The FMA5L is upflow only and must be installed in conditioned space. For attic or horizontal installs, look at the Grandaire WCHL multi-position air handler.
Will it fit the closet my old wall-hung unit came out of?
Often, yes. Compare the 36-1/2 x 20-1/2 x 15 in. cabinet and the supply duct opening against your closet before ordering, and confirm the return path through the closet door.
What is the warranty?
Five-year parts limited warranty, extended to 10 years when the equipment is registered within 90 days of installation.
