Description
The KOHLER C2 is a freestanding outdoor sauna built for the backyard. This small model seats up to three people, with a Weathered Grey Spruce exterior exterior over a Scandinavian spruce interior. Extended roof eaves and a waterproof EPDM roof membrane keep weather off the cabin, and exterior lighting makes it easy to find the door at night.
Inside, a freestanding FERO 9 kW electric heater with sauna stones does the work, controlled from a digital display for temperature, session time and backrest lighting. The heater needs a 240V 50A circuit (NEMA SS2-50P) and the lights run on a separate standard 120V line, so plan both with your electrician.
Walls are tongue-and-groove spruce with 2.1 in mineral wool insulation and rubber seals at the joints. Benches and backrest are obeche wood, the door and windows are 0.3 in tempered glass, and the door locks when the sauna is not in use. The C2 needs a level, solid base; plan the drain location before it arrives. It is delivered on a pallet by appointment, curbside.
