Description
The Olmo Sierra 12,000 BTU wall mounted system pairs the OS-SR12-230VO outdoor heat pump with the OS-12SRW-230VI indoor unit as an AHRI-matched single-zone ductless mini split (AHRI #215887336). It is rated at 20 SEER2 on R-32 refrigerant and runs on 208/230V single-phase power, heating and cooling one room or zone without ductwork.
Olmo Sierra is Cooper & Hunter's value line of inverter heat pumps. The single-zone systems ship with a wireless remote, the communication cable and a 16 ft line set, and include smart Wi-Fi connectivity, self-clean and multiple fan speeds.

Installation Notes
Mini split heat pumps must be installed by a licensed HVAC technician: the line set is flared, pressure tested, evacuated and charge-adjusted on site. R-32 is a mildly flammable (A2L) refrigerant, so A2L-rated tools and the manufacturer's procedures are required. Size the unit from a room load calculation rather than square footage alone. Each outdoor unit needs its own dedicated circuit sized to the rating plate (9.5 A MCA, 15 A max fuse).

Common Questions
Does this system come with a line set?
Yes. Olmo Sierra single-zone systems include a 16 ft line set and communication cable; longer runs need a longer line set and added charge per the outdoor unit instructions.
Can this outdoor unit run more than one indoor unit?
No. This is a single-zone (one outdoor to one indoor) system. Cooper & Hunter multi-zone condensers are listed separately.
