Description
Beckett Condensate Pump | 230V Medium Pump with Safety Switch | BK222UL
The Beckett BK222UL is a 230-volt automatic condensate removal pump for furnaces, air handlers, air conditioners, high-efficiency condensing furnaces and tankless water heaters. It collects condensate in a 2.5-quart tank and pumps it up and away to a drain, moving about 156 gallons per hour at 1 foot of lift and 105 gallons per hour at 10 feet, with a 22-foot shutoff height.
It is part of Beckett’s BK22 series, built with an ABS tank that handles the acidic condensate high-efficiency furnaces produce, a stainless steel motor shaft and a thermally protected 77-watt motor. Four 1.1-inch inlets let you bring in lines from more than one piece of equipment, and the 3/8-inch barbed discharge has a twist-lock check valve that stops water from running back into the tank.
The built-in safety switch closes on high water so you can wire it in series with the thermostat circuit to shut the equipment down, or to an alarm, before the tank overflows. A lift-to-test tab, a bullseye level on the lid and stainless multi-slot mounting tabs make it easy to set up and check. It plugs in with a 6-foot grounded cord; discharge tubing is sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it handle condensate from a high-efficiency furnace?
Yes. Beckett rates the BK22 series for the acidic condensate from high-efficiency furnaces and tankless water heaters. Many installers add a neutralizer ahead of the pump to protect the drain.
How do I wire the safety switch?
Run the two safety switch leads in series with the low-voltage thermostat circuit so the equipment stops if the tank fills, or connect them to an alarm. The pump itself plugs into a standard grounded outlet.
How high can it pump?
Shutoff is 22 feet. For good flow, size the run so the pump works well below that: about 105 GPH at 10 feet and 72 GPH at 15 feet.
What warranty does it carry?
Beckett backs the BK22 series with a 3-year warranty.
