Description
The KOHLER Anthem recessed mechanical thermostatic valve is the rough-in behind a custom shower. It mixes hot and cold water mechanically and holds the outlet temperature steady during the shower, with antiscald protection, an adjustable high-temperature limit stop and a comfort setting preset to about 104°F.
Choose the number of outlets your shower needs, from one to four. Each outlet delivers up to 7 gpm and the valve supplies up to 8 gpm total at 45 psi, with an optional restrictor that caps total flow at 1.75 gpm. Inlets are 3/4 in female NPT and outlets are 1/2 in female NPT.
The valve body is the rough-in only. Pair it with the matching KOHLER Anthem recessed push-button control panel trim for the same number of outlets, sold separately.
