K-FLEX PE LOCK 3/8" ID x 1/2" Wall Self-Seal — Full Carton of 69 Pieces (414 Linear Feet)
This is a full carton of K-FLEX PE LOCK 7PXL048038: 69 six-foot lengths of self-sealing polyethylene pipe insulation with a 3/8" inside diameter and a 1/2" wall, for 414 linear feet in one box. Each piece comes pre-slit with a self-seal lap closure, so it snaps over installed copper and seals shut without glue, tape or extra tools. That makes it a fast choice for retrofit work, service calls and line sets that are already brazed in place.
PE LOCK is a black, closed-cell, flexible polyethylene foam with a 1.5 pcf density. Its closed cells keep water vapor permeability below 0.05 perm-in and water vapor sorption below 0.2%, which helps it control condensation on cold water, chilled water and refrigerant lines. Thermal conductivity runs from 0.27 to 0.295 Btu-in/hr-sq ft-°F.
The material is rated for -200°F to +200°F, meets ASTM C1427 Type I for pipe insulation, and carries a 25/50 flame spread/smoke developed rating per ASTM E84 and UL 723. It is UL listed (UL94 HF-1) and meets NFPA 90A and 90B.
