Description
RectorSeal Surge Protector | RSH-50 VRMDC Kit with Surge Protector, Voltage Range Monitor and 60A Disconnect - NEMA 3R Enclosure, 120/240V | 96424
RectorSeal RSH surge protective devices guard the control boards, ECM motors and inverter drives in air conditioners, heat pumps and ductless mini splits against transient over-voltage from lightning and utility switching.
The RSH-50 VRMDC Kit combines the VRM60A, RSH-50, and 60A disconnect breaker in a NEMA 3R enclosure, for an all-in-one equipment solution. The RSH-50 uses Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) Technology along with Thermally Fused Metal Oxide Varistors (TMOV) for ultimate protection. Over-Under Voltage Protection with Adjustable Auto Cut-Off and Auto Restore Delay Time; Over-Under Voltage Cutoff Delay can be adjusted from 0.5 to 60 Seconds; Load Restore Delay adjustable from 1 to 600 Seconds 120/240 Single Phase.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a surge protector do for HVAC equipment?
It diverts transient voltage spikes from lightning and utility switching away from control boards, motors and inverter drives, which are expensive to replace.
What power supply is it for?
Single-phase 120 VAC / 240 VAC systems.
What does the voltage range monitor do?
It cuts power to the equipment when voltage goes too high or too low, then restores it after an adjustable delay (0.5 to 60 seconds cut-off, 1 to 600 seconds restore).
