Grandaire 20 kW Electric Heater Kit: EHC20BKB
The EHC20BKB is a 20 kW electric heater kit that slides into Grandaire WCHL air handlers from 2.5 through 5 tons (WCHL305AB, WCHL365AB, WCHL425AC, WCHL485AC, WCHL605BD). It provides backup and emergency heat for a heat pump system, or primary electric heat when the air handler is paired with an air conditioner.
Heater output depends on supply voltage. The kit is rated 20 kW at 240V and delivers about 15 kW (51,180 BTU/h) on a 208V supply.

The heater changes the unit's minimum circuit ampacity and maximum breaker, so the branch circuit and wire gauge must be sized for the combined load.
