Overview
This Mitsubishi Electric Smart Multi heat pump system pairs the MXZ-SM48NL outdoor unit with 5 MFZ-KX floor-mounted indoor units connected through a branch box for five-zone heating and cooling. Every indoor unit uses the same mount style, so each room gets matching appearance, airflow and controls. The system runs on 208/230V, 1-phase, 60 Hz power and uses R-454B refrigerant.

Performance

Connected indoor capacity for this combination totals 45,000 BTU/h class (9K + 9K + 9K + 9K + 9K). Heating operation is rated down to -13 F outdoor temperature. Final efficiency depends on the exact AHRI-matched combination.
Comfort and Noise
Each zone has its own indoor unit and controller, so occupied rooms can be conditioned independently. The INVERTER-driven compressor modulates capacity to hold set points closely and reduce on/off cycling.
Smart Features
Wi-Fi control through the Mitsubishi Electric Comfort app is available with the optional Wi-Fi interface kit. Each indoor unit supports Mitsubishi Electric wireless or wired controllers.
