Description
A high-capacity side debris canister designed to capture leaves and other solids before the pool pump. The thermoplastic canister mounts at the equipment pad and is plumbed before the circulation pump to trap debris from spa, skimmer, and main drain lines. Its clear bayonet lid and large basket reduce cleaning frequency while maintaining flow with minimal pressure loss.

How It Works
Pool cleaners and vacuums remove debris that settles on the floor and walls. Robotic cleaners have their own motor, pump and filter and run independently of the pool's circulation; in-floor systems use pop-up heads that sweep debris toward the main drain; handheld and portable vacuums give quick manual cleaning and service-route versatility.
How to Choose the Right In-Floor Cleaning System Component
- Match the cleaner to the pool surface, size and shape.
- For robotics, compare cable length, filter type, cycle times and wall/waterline climbing.
- For in-floor systems, match the head and valve brand and model already installed.
- Consider debris type: fine dirt, sand or large leaves.
If you are replacing an existing part, the fastest way to confirm compatibility is to match the brand and model number on the old equipment. Send us the model number or a photo of the label and our team will help confirm the 004152451600 is the right fit before you order.
Installation and Safety
Follow the manufacturer's setup instructions. Robotic cleaner power supplies must be plugged into a GFCI-protected outlet and kept away from the water's edge. In-floor components should be installed by a qualified pool professional.
Maintenance Tips
- Empty filters or bags after every cycle.
- Rinse robotic cleaner filters and inspect brushes and tracks.
- Untangle swivel cables periodically.
