How It Works
Pool automation and control equipment ties the pump, heater, lights, sanitizer and valves together so they run on schedule and can be controlled from a panel, remote or smartphone app. Load centers house the breakers and relays, relays switch equipment on and off, timers schedule run times, temperature controllers manage heat, and water levelers keep water at the right height.
How to Choose the Right Pool Automation System
- Match replacement panels, relays and boards to the automation system brand and model.
- Count the circuits and auxiliaries you need now and in the future.
- Confirm compatibility with variable speed pumps, salt systems and lighting.
- For timers and relays, match voltage, amperage and pole configuration.
If you are replacing an existing part, the fastest way to confirm compatibility is to match the brand and model number on the old equipment. Send us the model number or a photo of the label and our team will help confirm the 521632 is the right fit before you order.
Installation and Safety
Automation equipment involves line-voltage wiring, breakers and bonding. Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified pool professional in accordance with NEC Article 680 and the manufacturer's instructions. Turn off power at the breaker before servicing.
Maintenance Tips
- Keep firmware updated where supported.
- Inspect relays and wiring for heat damage.
