The Schwank JS-TW17-BN is the burner section of a duraSchwank SPW2 infrared tube heater, rated at 175,000 high / 125,000 low BTU/h on natural gas. Schwank sells many of its tube heaters as separate burner and tube kits, which lets you build the exact tube length and layout the building needs, or replace the burner on an existing system. The burner assembly houses the gas valve, ignition, combustion blower and controls; it bolts to the first section of the radiant tube from a matching tube kit.
Two-stage firing lets the heater run on low fire in mild weather and switch to high fire for heavy loads, for steadier comfort and lower fuel use. Pair the burner with a tube kit of the same series and an approved tube length for this input; the Schwank manual lists the allowed combinations.
