The Schwank STS-200-60-AN is a premierSchwank STS gas-fired, low-intensity infrared tube heater rated at 200,000 BTU/h on natural gas, with a 60 ft straight radiant tube. Instead of heating the air, an infrared tube heater sends radiant energy down to the floor, equipment and people below, much like the sun. Those surfaces warm up and release heat back into the space, so the area at working level stays comfortable even in tall buildings where warm air would otherwise collect at the ceiling, and heat recovers quickly after overhead doors open.
This is a single-stage heater that fires at its full rated input whenever the thermostat calls for heat. The burner housing is aluminized steel and the tube and reflector are aluminized steel.
