The Sunstar 42917980 is a genuine Sunstar draft inducer for SIS Vacuum Straight Tube Heaters (50,000-175,000 BTU), SIU Vacuum U-Tube Heaters (50,000-175,000 BTU). The draft inducer pulls combustion products through the tubes and out the vent on vacuum (SIS, SIU, SIR) heaters. If it fails or runs noisy, the air switch will not prove and the heater will lock out.
