Description
Product Summary
The Supco CD60+5X440 Oval Dual Run Capacitor, 60+5 MFD, 440V is a professional-grade replacement part from Supco (Sealed Unit Parts Co.), a trusted name in HVAC/R and appliance parts since 1945. SUPCO® capacitors are manufactured with the highest quality components. Our capacitors are manufactured and tested under our high standards and specifications. SUPCO always strives to supply excellent quality products at an economic price.
Dual run capacitors combine the compressor (HERM) and outdoor fan (FAN) run capacitors in a single can with a shared common (C) terminal, which is how most residential condensers and packaged units are built. When either section drifts out of tolerance, the system can hum, run hot, or fail to start. Match both MFD ratings and use an equal or higher voltage rating; 440V units can replace 370V units.
