The Sunstar PHJ40-L6 is a heavy-duty 40,000 BTU/hr freestanding propane patio heater made for restaurants, bars, event venues and backyards that need heat wherever the tables end up. It runs on a standard 20 lb propane cylinder hidden in the base, needs no electricity, and throws a 360° circle of radiant heat roughly 20 feet across from its overhead reflector.
The Hammertone Jet model is finished in a durable black and silver hammertone paint that hides scuffs from daily moving. Every unit comes standard with push-button piezo ignition, four cup holders on the post, a weighted base for stability, a flame-failure safety device and a wheel kit so one person can roll it into place or into storage.

No. It takes a standard 20 lb propane cylinder that fits inside the base.
Can it be used under a covered patio?
Only where the overhead clearance in the manual is met and the area is well ventilated. Never use it in an enclosed space.
