Description
Product Summary
The White-Rodgers F84-0434 is a zone valve from White-Rodgers, described by the manufacturer as: 1" zone valve stem assembly includes "Water seal Kit". It is sized for 1" connections.
A zone valve opens and closes to let hot or chilled water flow to one zone of a hydronic system when that zone's thermostat calls. Its end switch, when equipped, tells the boiler or zone panel to start the circulator and burner. Signs of a failed zone valve include a zone that will not heat with 24 volts at the actuator, a zone that heats when it should not, or a boiler that will not start because the end switch never closes.
