Description

The Comfort-Aire MCK018AGC30C0PS is an MC Compact Series water-source heat pump built for tight mechanical spaces where you still want efficient, controllable heating and cooling at the zone level. If you’re planning a water-loop system for an office suite, medical buildout, classroom wing, retail space, or multifamily common-area zone, the MCK018AGC30C0PS is designed to deliver the kind of steady comfort tenants notice and facility teams can support without drama.

MC Compact Series units use low-GWP R-454B refrigerant and are positioned to exceed ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency standards. The platform is built around a coaxial heat exchanger and TXV metering to keep operation stable as loop temperatures and zone loads change—exactly the situation most commercial buildings live in every day.

Quiet performance and occupied-space suitability are part of the design. The cabinet is galvanized steel, and the unit includes sound-absorbing glass-fiber insulation plus double-isolation compressor mounting to reduce vibration transfer and operational noise where people work and live.

Service and diagnostics are handled with commercial realities in mind: microprocessor controls with emergency shutdown, Unit Performance Sentinel performance monitoring, CXM2 communicating controls capability, and an external connection path designed to reduce startup, commissioning, and service time. For projects where safety requirements call for it, the refrigerant detection system (RDS) is available in this size range.
