Comfortstar Eco Smart Dual Zone Mini Split System: C32-MZ-2 with 9K + 9K Wall Mounted Indoor Units
This system heats and cools two rooms from one outdoor unit. The Comfortstar C32-MZ-2 inverter condenser runs two CH20-32 wall-mounted indoor units in a 9K + 9K combination, and every indoor unit has its own CR32-RC wireless remote, so each room is set to its own temperature. It runs on R-32 refrigerant and is rated at 18,000 BTU/h cooling and 18,000 BTU/h heating with 25 SEER2, 11.7 EER2 and 10 HSPF2 (Region IV).
The inverter compressor modulates between 2,000-22,000 BTU/h in cooling, so the system runs quietly at low speed most of the day instead of cycling on and off. Comfortstar rates it for cooling in outdoor temperatures up to 131°F and heating down to -13°F, and it still delivers 14,000 BTU/h of heat at 17°F. The outdoor unit is 56 dBA, and the indoor units drop to 28 dBA on their quietest setting.
Each zone runs its own line set (1/4" liquid, 3/8" gas) up to 82 ft, with up to 131 ft total across all zones. The condenser comes pre-charged for 49 ft of total line set.
