Comfortstar Alegria Platinum Five Zone Mini Split System: CMZ3-48-5Z with 6K + 6K + 6K + 6K + 18K Wall Mounted Indoor Units
This system heats and cools five rooms from a single outdoor unit. The Comfortstar CMZ3-48-5Z inverter condenser runs five CPP3 wall-mounted indoor units in a 6K + 6K + 6K + 6K + 18K combination, and each indoor unit comes with its own wireless remote, so every room holds its own temperature. It runs on R-454B and is rated at 35,000 BTU/h cooling and 37,000 BTU/h heating with 23.1 SEER2, 12 EER2 and 10 HSPF2.
The inverter compressor modulates between 9,000-40,000 BTU/h, so most of the day the system runs at low speed instead of cycling on and off. Comfortstar rates it for cooling from -13°F to 122°F outdoors and heating from -13°F to 75°F. The outdoor unit is 63 dBA, and the smallest indoor unit in this set drops to 20 dBA on its quietest speed.
Each zone runs its own line set up to 115 ft, with up to 262 ft total across all zones.
