Comfortstar BAR17 2.5 Ton Air Conditioner Split System (BAR17-30-15 + LUC17-30-15)
This is a complete, AHRI matched air conditioning system from Comfortstar: the BAR17-30-15 top-discharge condenser and the LUC17-30-15 multi-position air handler, running on R-32. Together they are rated at 28,000 BTU/h cooling, 14.3 SEER2 and 11.7 EER2 under AHRI certificate 218003217.
The outdoor unit is a straightforward single-stage rotary condenser: fewer parts, simple 24V controls and easy service. It is a dependable choice for replacements and new construction where you want solid efficiency without the cost of variable-speed equipment.
Indoors, the LUC17-30-15 installs upflow, downflow or horizontal, so it works in closets, attics and crawl spaces. Its ECM blower moves up to 1,100 CFM and the system runs on a standard 24V cooling thermostat, so no proprietary controls are required.
