Description
The Cooper & Hunter Olivia Midnight 12,000 BTU wall mounted system pairs the CH-RES12-230VO outdoor heat pump with the CH-RB12MOLVWM-230VI indoor unit as an AHRI-matched single-zone ductless mini split (AHRI #215864160). It is rated at 23.1 SEER2 on R-454B refrigerant and runs on 208/230V single-phase power, heating and cooling one room or zone without ductwork.
Olivia Midnight is the black-panel version of Cooper & Hunter's Olivia wall unit, built for rooms where a white cassette would stand out. It uses the Genius Core compressor control that can run down to 12 Hz for very low, quiet part-load operation. Wireless remote and Smart Kit included.

Installation Notes
Mini split heat pumps must be installed by a licensed HVAC technician: the line set is flared, pressure tested, evacuated and charge-adjusted on site. R-454B is a mildly flammable (A2L) refrigerant, so A2L-rated tools and the manufacturer's procedures are required. Size the unit from a room load calculation rather than square footage alone. Each outdoor unit needs its own dedicated circuit sized to the rating plate (12 A MCA, 15 A max fuse).

Does this system come with a line set?
No. The line set, communication wire, wall sleeve, condensate line and mounting hardware are sold separately.
Can this outdoor unit run more than one indoor unit?
No. This is a single-zone (one outdoor to one indoor) system. Cooper & Hunter multi-zone condensers are listed separately.
