Friedrich Breeze Select WFH48Y223D 4 Ton Multi-Position Air Handler
The Friedrich WFH48Y223D is the matched indoor air handler for the Breeze Select WFPU17Y483D inverter heat pump. It installs upflow, downflow or horizontal, moves 1,706 CFM at rated conditions (1,157-1,706 CFM range) with a 3/4 HP multi-speed ECM blower, and handles up to 0.8 in. W.C. of external static pressure, so it works on most existing duct systems. A factory A2L refrigerant leak sensor is built in for R-454B.
Paired with the WFPU17Y483D, the system is AHRI certified under reference 216776406 at 18 SEER2 and 9 HSPF2. The air handler runs from a conventional 24V thermostat.

No heat strip is included. Choose a Friedrich Friedrich AUX5KWA (5 kW), AUX7KWA (7 kW) and AUX10KWA (10 kW) kit from the Add an Electric Heat Strip option above if you want auxiliary or emergency heat.

This listing is the air handler only. The outdoor unit, line set, thermostat, condensate drain and installation materials are sold separately. Installation and service of R-454B equipment require a licensed HVAC technician.
