The NAVAC NTD28 Tube Deburring Tool cleans burrs from freshly cut copper and soft tubing before flaring, swaging, or brazing. A clean tube edge seals properly in a flare joint and keeps chips out of the refrigerant circuit, protecting metering devices, compressors, and filter-driers.
The tool is light and compact enough to clip in a pocket or ride in a pouch with your cutter. The blade is replaceable, and NAVAC packs two spare blades in the box so the edge stays sharp through heavy installation work.
Deburring takes seconds but prevents costly callbacks. Copper chips left in a line set can lodge in TXVs, EEVs, and capillary tubes or score compressor valves, and a burr on the flare face can keep the joint from sealing under R-410A or R-32 operating pressures.
