Description
Product Summary
The NAVAC NVR1 Valve Core Removal Tool lets technicians pull and reinstall Schrader valve cores without losing system charge or breaking vacuum. With the core out of the service port, refrigerant and air move through the full port diameter instead of being choked by the core and depressor, which shortens both recovery and evacuation times.
The NVR1 combines two sizes in one body, covering the 1/4" flare ports found on most split systems and the 5/16" flare ports common on R410A mini-splits. It is built for high-pressure refrigerants and is vacuum rated to 20 microns, so it can stay on the port through a deep evacuation.
Key Features
- Two sizes in one tool: Works on both 1/4" and 5/16" flare fittings, so one tool covers conventional splits and mini-splits.
- High-pressure rated: Designed for use with high-pressure refrigerants, including R410A.
- Vacuum rated to 20 microns: Holds deep vacuum during evacuation without becoming the leak point.
- Faster recovery and evacuation: Removing the core opens the full port bore for higher flow.
- Under-charge core service: Remove, replace, or reinstall valve cores while the system stays sealed.
- Rebuildable: NAVAC offers a separate F9011 repair kit for field service of the tool.
