A commercial pool has no off-season. A hotel pool, an apartment pool or a swim school may see hundreds of bathers in a day, and the water chemistry shifts with every one of them. IPS Controllers was started to keep up with that, building controllers that measure the water continuously and feed chemicals only when the water calls for them.
IPS Controllers was founded in the mid-2000s by five veteran professionals from the pool and spa industry, and it has grown from a modest startup into a recognized name in chemical control, marking its fifteenth anniversary in the 2020s. Its team includes engineers, designers, manufacturers and field specialists, and its president is Chuck Woolstenhulme. The company builds an American-made line of chemical controllers for pool and spa water and offers new installations, automation of existing chemical systems and custom solutions.
IPS controllers monitor two numbers that matter most for sanitized water. The first is pH, which affects bather comfort, how well chlorine works and whether water is corrosive or scaling. The second is ORP, oxidation-reduction potential, a reading in millivolts that reflects the sanitizer's real-time ability to oxidize contaminants. When either drifts, the controller signals a feeder or pump to correct it.

IPS controllers measure pH and ORP, oxidation-reduction potential, and signal feeders or pumps to correct the water when readings drift.
The M920 is an IPS pH controller with dual ORP outputs and WiFi, allowing two sanitizer feed devices to be managed and monitored remotely.
Yes. IPS Controllers describes its line of chemical controllers as American made.
