Electric heat

Sizing and installation
Size the system from a room-by-room load calculation (ACCA Manual J) rather than square footage alone. Climate, insulation, windows and duct condition all change the load, and an oversized system short-cycles and leaves humidity behind.
The outdoor unit and air handler each need their own electrical circuit sized to the rating plate. The refrigerant line set, thermostat, condensate drain, pad and installation materials are sold separately. Because R-454B is a mildly flammable (A2L) refrigerant, installation and service require a licensed HVAC technician using A2L-rated tools and the manufacturer's procedures, which also keeps the warranty in force.
