The Appion KTF645 is a retrofit kit that upgrades older G5Twin refrigerant recovery machines with 1/4" flare angled fittings. The angled swivel fittings make it easier to connect large-diameter recovery hoses to the G5Twin, reducing hose strain and kinking at the machine.
The kit includes two swivel fittings, a manifold inlet/outlet fitting, a pack of manifold inlet filter screens, and the O-rings needed to complete the installation, so an older G5Twin can match the hose-friendly fitting layout of current production machines.
Installation is straightforward bench work for a qualified technician: recover any refrigerant from the machine, remove the original port fittings, install the new manifold fitting and filter screen, and seat the new O-rings before threading on the angled swivels.
