The outdoor unit runs on 208/230V, 1-phase, 60 Hz power and uses a variable-speed INVERTER-driven twin rotary compressor with R410A refrigerant.

Rated non-ducted performance for the MXZ-3C24NAHZ4 is 22,000 BTU/h cooling and 25,000 BTU/h heating at 47°F, with 14,000 BTU/h at 17°F and up to 25,000 BTU/h maximum heating at 5°F.
