Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a hanging heater need a flexible connector?

Tube and patio heaters expand as they heat and can swing on their hangers; a flexible connector keeps that movement off the rigid gas piping.

Is pipe dope or tape needed?

Use gas-rated thread sealant on threaded joints and leak test every connection with soap solution.
