Description

Overview

The Tosot APEX 5 ton system is a complete ducted central heat pump: a slim side-discharge outdoor unit paired with a multi-position air handler that installs upflow or horizontal. It is rated at 18.5 SEER2 and 10.5 HSPF2, ENERGY STAR certified, and uses R32 refrigerant.

APEX uses a two-stage inverter compressor with enhanced vapor injection, so it keeps full heating capacity down to about -5°F and keeps operating to -22°F. It suits whole homes of roughly 1,500–3,000 sq. ft. and connects to standard 24V thermostats. This package includes a 25 ft line set and the installation accessories.
