Description
The Bard W24AF-A00 is a WA Series wall-mount, single-stage packaged air conditioner built for commercial and industrial spaces that need reliable cooling without sacrificing interior floor space. It mounts on an exterior wall and delivers steady temperature control for applications where rooftop equipment is inconvenient and split-system layouts add complexity. The W24AF platform is commonly used in modular buildings, schools, mobile/temporary structures, telecom shelters, industrial rooms, energy storage sites, and data center support areas.
Performance is certified to ANSI/ARI 390-2021, with an AHRI cooling capacity of 24,000 BTUH and an EER of 11.4 (ratings based on no outside air introduction). The W24AF uses R-454B (A2L) refrigerant and a scroll compressor, pairing efficient refrigeration design with practical service considerations for high-uptime environments.
Air delivery is driven by a multi-speed ECM indoor motor with a dual blower arrangement, rated at 800 CFM at 0.10 in. ESP. That airflow profile supports consistent comfort and is well suited to the real-world duct/static conditions seen in light commercial and modular applications.
The WA Series is designed to be configurable for job requirements. Available accessory paths include ventilation options (economizers and energy recovery ventilators), electric heat options from 2 kW up to 15 kW, filter upgrades up to MERV13, and indoor air quality accessories such as UVC-LED and NPBI devices. Controls include short-cycle protection, phase monitoring, high/low pressure switches, and a refrigerant detection system (RDS) included across models.
