Description

This Rheem 5 ton gas and electric split system pairs the RA16AY60AJ2NA air conditioner, the RCFY6024STANMC cased evaporator coil and the R801V1255A24UHSCAP 80% AFUE gas furnace. It is an AHRI-certified match (AHRI reference 217168499), rated at 57,000 BTU/h of cooling and 17 SEER2. All three pieces use R-454B refrigerant.

How the pieces work together

The outdoor air conditioner uses a two-stage compressor that runs on low most of the day and steps up on the hottest afternoons. Inside, the 24.5" wide RCFY coil sits flush on the 24.5" furnace cabinet, so the installer gets a clean, square stack with no transition to fabricate.
