The Appion KT2110-R is a replacement kit of ten disposable oil catch filters plus two 1/4" male fitting O-rings for the Appion AV760 vacuum gauge. The filters stop vacuum pump oil and system oil from reaching the gauge sensor, so readings stay accurate and the sensor stays clean.
Oil contamination is the most common reason a vacuum gauge reads high or drifts during an evacuation. Replacing the oil catch filter on a regular schedule, along with the fitting O-ring, protects the AV760 and gives technicians confidence that the micron reading reflects the system and not a fouled sensor.
