The Appion MGABAS MegaFlow Basics Evacuation Kit pairs a 6 ft, 1/2" internal-diameter MegaFlow vacuum hose with a vacuum-rated 1/4" valve core removal tool (MGAVCT). Together they eliminate the two biggest restrictions in a typical evacuation: the Schrader valve core and the narrow 1/4" charging hose.
Built for standard 1/4" access ports (R22, R410A split systems and most residential/light commercial equipment), the kit opens more than 90% of the access port's internal diameter and delivers up to 16x the flow of a 1/4" hose. Appion test data on a 10-ton system shows a pull-down to 500 microns in about 3 minutes with the 1/2" hose and core removed, versus roughly 40 minutes through a 1/4" hose and valve core.

Compatibility
Fits systems with 1/4" access ports. Works with any vacuum pump that has a 3/8" or 1/4" flare inlet, including the Appion TEZ8. Two MGABAS kits (or one each of MGABAS and MGABRO) can be added to the Appion SPDKIT-V Vacuum Speed Kit for multi-port evacuations.
