Overview
This LG Multi F MAX heat pump system pairs the KUMXB541A outdoor unit with 5 LG convertible mid static ducted indoor units for five-zone heating and cooling. Every indoor unit in this system is the same style, so each room gets matching appearance, airflow and controls. The system runs on 208/230V, 1-phase, 60 Hz power and uses R-32 refrigerant.

Performance
LG rates Multi F MAX systems by total connected indoor capacity. At 60,000 BTU/h connected (ducted), this system is rated at 18.5 SEER2, 12.5 EER2 and 9.3 HSPF2, with a rated cooling capacity of 50,500 BTU/h and a rated heating capacity of 58,000 BTU/h. Heating operation is rated down to -4 F outdoor temperature (wet bulb) and cooling operation from 14 F to 118 F.
Comfort and Noise
Each zone has its own indoor unit and set point, so occupied rooms can be conditioned independently while unused rooms stay idle. The inverter compressor adjusts its speed to match the load, which holds temperatures steadily and reduces on/off cycling.
Smart Features
Wi-Fi control through the LG ThinQ app is available with the optional PWFMDD200 Wi-Fi module. Ducted indoor units require a wired controller, sold separately (for example PREMTB101 or PREMTA201).
