Description
The Bard W36AF-A00 is a WA Series wall-mount, single-stage packaged air conditioner built for commercial and institutional applications that need durable, repeatable cooling performance in a compact footprint. By mounting through an exterior wall, the W36AF keeps the mechanical package out of the interior space while delivering controlled cooling for modular buildings, schools, industrial rooms, telecom spaces, energy storage sites, and data center support areas.
AHRI performance is certified to ANSI/ARI 390-2021, with a 35,600 BTUH cooling capacity and an 11.0 EER (ratings based on no outside air introduction). The W36AF uses R-454B (A2L) refrigerant and a scroll compressor, aligning with modern refrigerant direction while maintaining straightforward single-stage operation.
Air delivery is handled by a multi-speed ECM indoor motor and dual blower configuration rated at 1,150 CFM at 0.15 in. ESP. That airflow and static profile supports practical ducted installations where consistent comfort depends on stable airflow under load.
The WA Series is designed to be configurable for job needs, including ventilation options (economizers and ERVs), electric heater options from 2 kW up to 15 kW, filtration upgrades up to MERV13, and IAQ accessories like UVC-LED and NPBI. Standard controls include short-cycle protection, phase monitoring, high/low pressure switches, and an RDS refrigerant detection system.
