Description
The Bard W30AF-A00 is a WA Series wall-mount, single-stage packaged air conditioner designed for demanding commercial-duty cooling where interior space and ground space are limited. The wall-mount format keeps the mechanical package outside the occupied area while delivering consistent cooling for modular buildings, schools, telecom and industrial spaces, energy storage installations, and data center support rooms.
AHRI performance is certified to ANSI/ARI 390-2021, with 29,000 BTUH cooling capacity and 11.3 EER (ratings based on no outside air introduction). The W30AF uses R-454B (A2L) refrigerant and a scroll compressor, providing a modern refrigerant platform with proven compressor architecture for steady single-stage operation.
The indoor section uses a multi-speed ECM motor with a dual blower configuration, rated at 950 CFM at 0.15 in. ESP. That combination gives the system practical airflow flexibility for real duct conditions, supporting consistent temperature control across typical light commercial layouts.
The WA Series is built around job adaptability: ventilation add-ons (economizers and ERVs), electric heat options from 2 kW to 15 kW, filtration options up to MERV13, and IAQ upgrades such as UVC-LED and NPBI. Standard control protections include short-cycle protection, phase monitoring, high/low pressure switches, and an onboard RDS refrigerant detection system.
