The NAVAC NTC12 Tube Cutter handles copper and other soft tubing from 1/8" up to 1-1/4" OD, covering liquid lines through larger suction lines on residential and light commercial systems. It replaces NAVAC's earlier NTC11.
A sharp, durable cutting wheel rides on ball bearings for smooth, even feed, and the light aluminum alloy body cuts fatigue on repeat cuts. Its short-cut feature lets you trim a bad flare right at the tube end, saving copper on tight line sets.
For best results, feed the wheel gradually, a small turn of the knob per revolution, instead of forcing a deep bite. Light feed keeps the tube round, cuts down the inner lip, and extends wheel life. Finish each cut with a NAVAC NTR14 reamer or NTD28 deburrer.
