First Co. 24WCX2BB200F (WCX2 Series) is a cooling-only through-the-wall split condensing unit built for same-floor multi-family applications where you want a compact outdoor footprint and straightforward service access. This format is commonly used in apartments, condos, and townhomes because it supports practical routing and replacement compatibility without forcing a different equipment layout.
WCX2 models use R-454B (A2L) refrigerant and a high-efficiency scroll compressor with a propeller-type condenser fan. For the 24 size, published rated cooling capacity is 23,600 BTU/H with EER2 10.10, and the series lists SEER2 11.70 (coil rating). Outdoor cooling ambient operating range is listed from 60°F to 115°F.
The BB cabinet option is the more compact-height cabinet family, built with drainage and coil-protection details that matter in the field. It includes a sloped base pan to promote drainage, a plastic-coated coil guard for coil protection and corrosion resistance, and side panels that fit inside the base pan to help manage water along cabinet edges. This series is intended for use with ECM indoor blower coil/air handler units, and the indoor coil must be compatible for A2L applications.
